Roy Howard Eder

Roy Howard Eder, age 57, passed away on January 19, 2017, after a two-year battle with a brain tumor.

Roy was born in Marin on July 1, 1959. He went through the Reed Union School District in Tiburon, and attended Cate School in Carpinteria, Calif., for his high school years. After graduating from University of the Pacific in Stockton, he worked for Jack Nadel & Company before starting his own company, Eder Marketing Group. He had many interests, including tennis, lacrosse, motorcycling and car racing.

Roy was a very positive person with a bright smile and a wonderful sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Kutsch, and his three children, Cami, Beau and Kendal. He is also survived by his mother, Florence Eder; brother Lee Eder; two sisters, Deborah Newman and Patricia Eder; as well as cousins, nieces and nephews Evan, Katie, Nick, Jack, Sam and Charlie. Donations can be made in Roy's honor to the Scripps Health Foundation for brain cancer research.
