Robin Rae Reynolds
May 29, 1962-April 18, 2016

Robin Rae Reynolds of Tiburon, who devoted much of her adult life to raising money to fight cancer, died April 18, 2016, of uterine cancer. She was 53.
Ms. Reynolds, who grew up in San Diego and moved to the Bay Area in 1989, worked for the American Cancer Society and later the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she was key in in turning the San Francisco Leukemia Cup Regatta into one of the premier fundraising events in the country. The fundraiser, hosted by the San Francisco Yacht Club in Belvedere, hit the $1 million milestone for the first time in 2011 and became a national model for the society. Ms. Reynolds most recently began working with Easter Seals.
She recently developed an interest in sailing and joined the yacht club, enjoying much of her free time on the bay.
Ms. Reynolds is survived by her siblings, Robert, Cheryl and William, along with their families.
A celebration of her life is set for 2 p.m. June 5 at the San Francisco Yacht Club, 98 Beach Road, Belvedere.
