Richard Hill

Richard Cary Hill of Tiburon, a former member of the Marin Municipal Water District board of directors, died Feb. 5 of complications from a bad fall. He had suffered from post-polio for about 15 years. He was 82.

Thomas Harold Raymond Moffet of Tiburon, who started his career as an electrical engineer and became an entrepreneur, bank president and investment firm founder, died Jan. 27 at home of transitional cell cancer. He was 70.

Marianne Elizabeth Gianella Auerbach, a longtime Belvedere resident, died Feb. 2 after a long illness. She was 85.

Rutherford Romaine

Rutherford Robbins ("Robb") Romaine, who lived with his wife in Belvedere while battling the last stages of glioblastoma multiforme, a form of brain cancer, died Jan. 21. He was 63

Lawrence Yale Goldberg, who served on the national campaign staff for three Republican presidential campaigns and who served in the Nixon White House as liaison to the Jewish community, died Jan. 29 of cancer. He was 80.

Robert Donald Hadley of Tiburon, a principal in the esteemed Belvedere construction firm Ireland-Robinson & Hadley, died Jan. 28 following a sudden illness. He was 84.
