TPC Women’s Tennis Team Goes to District Tournament

Members of the 2.5A Women’s Tennis Team at the Tiburon Peninsula Club are rightfully excited. They triumphed over the teams from Scott Valley and the Marin Country Club during the local leagues playoffs of the USTA NorCal Adult League 2010 Women’s 2.5 Marin League.

As winners, they now will go on to the District playoffs to be held at the Harbor Bay Club in Alameda on August 13, 14 and 15. Their opponents will be the Courtside B team from San Jose, the Broadstone team from Sacramento and the Lafayette team from Lafayette. If they prevail in Alameda, they will go on to the Sectionals in Pebble Beach at the end of August
