Mill Valley Refuse prepares to pitch move to dual-stream recycling

Despite a tepid reaction by participating Belvedere, Tiburon and Strawberry residents to the three-month tryout of dual-stream recycling last fall, Mill Valley Refuse Service officials say they’re convinced the program offers better environmental and cost benefits and want to broadly roll out a dual-stream option when they introduce a rate-hike application in April.
