Tiburon woman, great-grandson join forces for art exhibit

Two generations of one Tiburon family have their work on display in “Birds Together — Birds in Two Perspectives,” an exhibit running through April 5 at the Corte Madera Library. When Helen Muirhead, 83, was invited to show her paintings of birds at the library, she says she thought it would be fun to invite her great-grandson, 17-year-old Caleb Jordan-McDaniels, to show his bird photography alongside her art. “His bird photos have amazing detail,” Muirhead says. “Many times, he gets them by sitting still for several hours waiting for the birds to come to the spot he has picked.”
