Turn to the garden for outdoor time amid coronavirus threat

I came home a week early from a trip to the East Coast, not specifically because of the coronavirus threat, though that was included in my thinking. On my way home from the airport, the poppies along 19th Avenue in San Francisco were in full bloom, so spring has sprung. One of the possible upsides to this current situation could be that we all use less gas in our cars, making the air just a little cleaner. Hanging out at home isn’t my favorite thing, but getting out in the garden is always nice. (Diane Lynch photo / For The Ark)
