Tiburon Peninsula rolls out curbside retail; lots for local parks, trails to remain closed

Most Marin County retail stores can reopen for curbside pickup and most parking lots at outdoor recreation areas can reopen to vehicles under an updated public-health order that went into effect May 18 — though Tiburon officials say parking at Blackie’s Pasture and other town parks will remain closed for now. Marin’s retail order, issued May 15, went into effect 10 days after Gov. Gavin Newsom gave the OK statewide for all counties to allow book, music, clothing, flower, toy and sporting-goods shops to reopen for curbside pickup and delivery amid the coronavirus pandemic.
