Glorya Boone Davis

Glorya Boone Davis died peacefully at age 96 in Petaluma, May 29th, 2018, just as the full moon was rising.

She was born in 1922 in San Diego to Charles Boone and Kathryn Breckenridge. Glorya attended UCLA studying pre-med and married William R. Davis of San Francisco in 1945. They lived in Belvedere for over 50 years, raising three children; William Breckenridge Davis of Petaluma, Terry Davis of Taos, New Mexico, and Scott Davis of Annapolis, Maryland. Glorya is also survived by three grandchildren: Harrison Holthouse, Casey Davis and Gwynne Davis, as well as many nephews and nieces. She will be missed and celebrated by the entire family for her spirit of loving kindness.

Glorya played tennis regularly at the Tiburon Peninsula Club, volunteered for many charitable organizations and became a massage therapist as she pursued her interest in the healing arts. She was an early member of the Community Congregational Church, a founding member of their Healing Circle and arranged flowers for their services, as well as for other community events. Glorya had an abiding love of flowers and an amazing artistry with them. There will be a ceremony of remembrance for Glorya at CCC and a memory stone placed in the garden in her honor..
