Former teacher, Reed Union district parent named to school board
A former teacher with three children enrolled in the Reed Union School District beat out five other candidates to win an interim seat on the district’s board of directors. The board voted 3-1 at a special meeting Dec. 6 to appoint Amy Jacobs to replace Susan Lambe Peitz, who resigned Nov. 2 after seven years on the board. Jacobs will serve the remainder of Peitz’s term, which runs through early December 2020.
