Exterior work to begin soon on Belvedere-Tiburon Library addition

Belvedere-Tiburon Library officials say the framing of the 8,617-square-foot addition to the existing building is now 90-percent complete, with the crews that install internal systems such as plumbing and utilities already working inside. “We’re just about to join the two buildings at the roof level,” Project Manager Glenn Isaacson of Belvedere told the Library Agency board at its Aug. 3 meeting. “The existing building and the new addition have already been joined at the floor level.” Once the framing is finished, the public will begin to see the exterior architectural and structural finishes, he said.
