Belvedere-Tiburon Library board backs solar panels for expanded building

The Belvedere-Tiburon Library will sport new solar panels when construction is complete on its current expansion, but officials are still deciding whether to install them on the roof, a new carport or both. The Belvedere-Tiburon Library Agency board at its Feb. 22 meeting gave the go-ahead to project manager Glenn Isaacson to explore several options for providing the solar-panel arrays as part of the expansion project, which due to construction delays is now on track to be completed in early fall instead of late summer as previously predicted.
