Undefeated Tiburon All-Stars are district champs

The Tiburon Peninsula Little League All-Stars captured the District 3 championship last weekend, completing an undefeated run that now advances them to sectionals.


Battling back from a 4-0 deficit in the first inning of July 11’s title game at Joe Wagner Field in Larkspur, the No. 1-ranked Tiburon 12U team (9-0) chipped away at No. 2 Novato South (7-2) to take a 5-4 lead in the second frame, then never looked back. They scored a pair more in the fourth and piled on five more in the fifth inning to win by a final score of 12-6.
