Hearts & Flowers at Cove center is set to close shop in August


Hearts & Flowers owner Peggy O’Neill says she is retiring and will close the flower shop at The Cove Shopping Center at the end of August when the lease expires. “It’s time,” she said. O’Neill opened her first flower shop in 1979 at the Corner Market in Tiburon owned by the Fred Mantegani family. She moved to The Boardwalk Shopping Center in 1985 and opened up her second shop at The Cove, with the adjacent café, the same year. The cafe will close on June 28.
