Docents who greet and educate visitors at the Tiburon Railroad & Ferry Depot Museum have an additional responsibility these days: They’re on drip patrol. When it rains, the corrugated steel roof of the 133-year-old building that houses the Shoreline Park museum leaks badly, and docents must walk around checking the towels and buckets that have been strategically placed in known leak locations. If the towels are damp, they get replaced. If the buckets are filling, they get emptied. (Elliot Karlan photo / The Ark)
