Cherril Lynn Tanner Scarth

Cherril Lynn Tanner Scarth

December ’33 to 2018

Died at home, ready and serene

With her kids, lighted tree and hearth

Born a California native,

Then college, teacher, babies,

Tennis, bridge with the ladies.

Always painted, sculpted - creative.

She loved Belvedere from the start.

“Nothing novel; traveled, well-read,

A very fortunate life well-led.”

As protester she did her part.

If we can bear the truths she’s spoken,

If we remember her wit without tears,

To Planned Parenthood or Reporters Sans Frontiers

She would appreciate any token.
