No dogs on McKegney Field, Tiburon parks commission recommends


Tiburon’s newly renovated McKegney Green playing field could sport a permanent fence and be off-limits to dogs under a new package of recommendations developed by the town’s Parks, Open Spaces and Trails Commission. The commission at its Feb. 26 meeting also recommended a $70 hourly fee for use of the field by sports leagues, up from $35, and hashed out a tentative schedule for play that appears to appease the field’s two primary users, the Tiburon Peninsula Soccer and Southern Marin Lacrosse clubs.
