Tiburon deer killer pleads guilty to five counts, gets 30-day house arrest

The former Tiburon man who shot and killed a doe and fawn outside his home in 2017 has pleaded guilty to five misdemeanor charges, averting a trial and additional jail time. Mark Dickinson, a 55-year-old former Mar East Street resident who moved to Chicago after local outcry over the incident, will serve 30 days of house arrest, is prohibited from possessing firearms or hunting during three years of probation, must serve 16 hours of community service at an animal shelter and was required to issue an apology.
