Skylar Thompson, daughter of former Tiburon Mayor Andrew Thompson and Sunny Lyrek of Novato, is a member of Novato Cheer & Dance, the Novato High School squad that took home its second consecutive national championship at the JAMZ Cheer and Dance Competition Feb. 23-24 in Las Vegas.
