Tiburon to explore ban on single-use plasticware


The Tiburon Town Council will explore whether the town should ban single-use plasticware such as straws, utensils and take-out containers in an effort to improve Tiburon’s environmental sustainability. If Tiburon moves forward with a potential ban, it would be following in the footsteps of San Anselmo, which recently adopted a single-use plastic ban set to take effect in June.
