Tiburon commission will once again review tennis-club expansion

The Tiburon Planning Commission is again set to consider the Tiburon Peninsula Club’s proposed new junior tennis center at a public hearing set for 7:30 p.m. May 8. The commission’s last public hearing on the project in March lasted four hours — due in part to robust turnout by club members and neighbors — but finished without a decision. Commissioners appeared to be in favor of approving some version of the project but couldn’t reach consensus on restrictions that would reduce the light and noise impact on unhappy residents of surrounding neighborhoods.
