Tiburon jazz musician aims to forge connections through music

Over the course of his decades-long career as a professional musician, Richard Howell, who moved to Tiburon about three years ago, has gone from playing saxophone for the likes of Etta James and Chaka Kahn to putting out five albums of his own compositions and leading two bands, the Richard Howell Quartet and Richard Howell and Sudden Changes.
