Belvedere man’s work with Operation Encore helps singer-songwriter vets, military members


Belvedere resident Guy Jaquier says when he heard about Operation Encore a few years ago through friends, it “lit a spark.” The organization, founded in 2015 by three men who had careers in the military and a passion for music, helps veterans and active-duty military men and women and their spouses advance their music careers. Jaquier, a retired businessman and himself a musician, says he was drawn to the organization because it combined his love for music, respect for veterans and desire to give back.
