Tiburon artist draws her inspiration from water

The major theme of Joan Distin White’s paintings is water. “I adore water, and I feel the most at home when I’m near it,” White says. The Tiburon artist will display some of those works in the exhibit “In the Flow,” running through Aug. 31 in the upstairs Community Room at Tiburon Town Hall. There will be an artist’s reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on July 10. (Diane Smith photo / For The Ark)
