Police: Two-time felon from East Bay is suspect in Tiburon carport bike theft


Authorities say a possibly armed man who stole two unlocked bikes from a Hilary Drive carport early June 26 is an East Bay resident who has two prior felony convictions for burglary and firearm possession. Tiburon police are working with other Bay Area law-enforcement agencies to build a case that could lead to the arrest of the suspect, who was identified with the help of security-camera footage that was circulated among those agencies, said Tiburon Police Chief Michael Cronin.
