Belvedere-Tiburon Library hosts Green Week with speakers, interactive programs and a Green Fair

The Belvedere-Tiburon Library’s inaugural Green Week continues this week, culminating in a Green Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 13.

The fair will include giveaways and activities like e-bike demonstrations from Mill Valley bike shop Mad Dogs & Englishmen, a trash-truck demonstration from Mill Valley Refuse Service and insights on local wildlife from the Richardson Bay Audubon Center. There will also be a book sale, plant swap, teen garden and kids’ planting corner, with workshops on upcycling crafts and creating your own mini electric car.

Snacks include fresh fruit and veggies, with music from DJ Yuka Yu.

There will also be booths for the Tiburon Peninsula GreenTeam and sustainable-living nonprofit Resilient Neighborhoods.
