Classic Car Show to mark 20th anniversary

After a one-year pandemic-related hiatus, the Tiburon Classic Car Show returns Sept. 18, with 90 cars from 1975 and earlier on display along Shoreline Park on Paradise Drive.

The family-friendly event runs 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; admission is free, and food, beverages and ice cream will be available for purchase.

This year, event organizer Tom O’Neill is planning something special to recognize the show’s 20th anniversary. Starting at 5 p.m., lower Main Street will close to vehicle traffic for a free reception; on display will be a small number of extremely rare cars — so much so that most people have never seen them before, O’Neill says.
