Clotlide E. Goria

Clotlide E. Goria, 89, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born on February 10, 1934, in San Francisco, California, to George and Clotilde Perasso.

Clotilde (aka Chris, Babe, Clo-Clo) was a devoted wife, loving mother and loyal friend. She was beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly funny. She was happiest playing tennis and spending time with her precious grandchildren. Clotilde was always impeccably dressed — a Style Influencer before her time. She was an accomplished cook, seamstress, interior designer, gardener, and advisor. Her dinner parties were legendary and her Baked Alaska the envy of San Francisco. Clotilde was always up for an adventure and enjoyed her travels to Italy, Hawaii, and Africa. She showed nothing but Grace and Gratitude in her final years and was loved by all who came to know her. Her signature smile will be missed at Alma Via. She was an inspiration to us all!

Clotilde is survived by her brother Judge Claude Perasso and sister-in-law Donna Perasso; daughter Laura Perell and son-in-law Rick Perell; daughter Claudia Bressie and son-in-law Paul Bressie; nieces Jeannie Peters, Mary Anne Scarlett, and Inez Reed; nephew Claude Perasso Jr.; and grandchildren Luca Perell, James Bressie, Pierce Bressie, Analisa Perell, and Julia Bressie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Victor J. Goria, brothers James Perasso and George Perasso, and parents George and Clotilde Perasso.

The Memorial Service will be held on June 24th at St. Vincent de Paul Church in San Francisco at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or By the Bay Health (Hospice).
