James B. Triplett


James B. Triplett passed away June 26, 2021, of complications from prostate cancer.


Jim was born in Bend, Oregon, in 1932, raised in Palo Alto, and graduated from Palo Alto High School in 1950, San Jose State University in 1954 with a business degree and a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. He served three years of active duty followed by ten more years in the reserve while rising to the rank of captain.


Jim spent 35 years in the food-brokerage business until retirement let him enjoy summer at the family cabin at Lake Tahoe, being with family, playing golf, skiing, and hiking.


Jim is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Melinda, son Bruce, daughter-in-law Tara, daughter Aimee, and two beautiful grandchildren, Chad and Elena.


At Jim’s request, no services are planned. Arrangements are being handled by The Trident Society.
