Library partially reopens to public for first time in nearly two years
The Belvedere-Tiburon Library has partially reopened to the public after nearly two years of pandemic- and expansion-related closures.
Patrons were welcomed back to the library Jan. 31, giving them their first glimpse of some of the newly expanded building even as construction continues with a target grand-reopening date in June.
“While the space and collection will be limited, staff are excited and eager to welcome back the public,” Library Director Crystal Duran said in an email.
Hours will be 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays, with Duran saying Sunday and evening hours probably won’t be restored until the library fully reopens.
