Marin: Everyone should mask indoors

Marin has joined eight other Northern California counties in again recommending indoor face coverings for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, amid a rise in COVID-19 cases driven by the Delta variant. The July 16 announcement is a step short of mandatory indoor masking announced by Los Angeles County the day prior.

“There is a concern that if vaccinated individuals are infectious to others and not covering their faces, they could be transmitting to unvaccinated people who are vulnerable to serious illness,” Willis said in a video statement.
