Real Good Greens brings farm-fresh produce delivery to Tiburon Peninsula

Tiburon’s Helene Zahoudanis and her husband started Real Good Greens, which delivers organic, seasonal produce directly from farmers to customers.

When the coronavirus pandemic first hit Marin County in March 2020, Helene Zahoudanis and her husband, Matt Petersen, learned local farmers had a surplus of crops because many of their regular customers — restaurants — had been forced to close under regional and statewide shelter-in-place orders.

The Tiburon residents say it was obvious they should try to bridge that gap.

“Our community needed food and the farmers had an excess of it, so we decided to dig into that and figure out how to facilitate a connection between local farmers and local consumers,” says Zahoudanis, 30.

The couple brainstormed and came up with Real Good Greens, a plan to deliver organic, seasonal produce directly from local farmers to customers’ doors.
