Tickets on sale now for virtual Tiburon International Film Festival

Tickets are on sale for the 19th annual Tiburon International Film Festival, which is set to screen more than two dozen movies from 15 countries online Dec. 11-17. The virtual festival was originally slated to take place in April but was placed on hold by founder Saeed Shafa as the coronavirus pandemic began to spread rapidly throughout the country This year’s virtual festival shines a spotlight on Hungarian cinema, including director Linda Dombrovszky’s “Don Juan is Balding” about a philandering husband in 1930s Hungary on an emotional journey with his young wife, and director Attila Szász’s “Tall Tales,” about a con man who finds himself in a love affair with a woman whose husband is about to return home from the front lines of World War II.
