Two candidates emerge for November Tiburon Town Council election


Heritage and Arts Commissioner Leonor “Nora” Noguez and Planning Commissioner Kathleen Defever have officially entered the race for the interim Tiburon Town Council seat up for grabs in a special Nov. 2 election.


Noguez filed her completed paperwork at Town Hall July 27, well ahead of the Aug. 6 deadline. Defever filed Aug. 2. Diversity Inclusion Task Force member Noah Griffin had also taken out nomination papers but had not yet filed by The Ark’s press deadline.
