The Ranch board approved a $2.4 million budget Jan. 26 that officials say reflects a post-pandemic rebound in enrollment, with youth programs driving most of the recreation district’s financial gains.
The Belvedere-Tiburon Joint Recreation Committee board of directors voted 7-0, with Vice Chair Victoria Gazulis and Tiburon Town Council liaison Isaac Nikfar absent, to approve the budget ahead of the district’s new fiscal year starting March 1. The budget projects a $14,500 net gain after expenses.
Board Chair Brian Chase said the budget reflects a “return to normalcy” after the pandemic, with strong enrollment in youth and adult programs.
