Three incumbents say they’ll look to retain seats on Tiburon Town Council


Two longtime Tiburon Town Councilmembers and one recent appointee to the board will look to retain their seats this November. The terms of Mayor Jim Fraser, Alice Fredericks and Jon Welner are expiring, and all three say they plan to file for re-election to the five-member council. The filing period for anyone interested in vying for one of those open council seats — and for a slew of other local boards — runs through 5 p.m. Aug. 10, with an extension to Aug. 15 if an incumbent officeholder does not file.
