Reed school district bumps up funding for Yellow Bus Challenge by $4,500


The Reed Union School District will spend some extra cash to keep the Yellow Bus Challenge rolling smoothly during the 2018-2019 school year. The district’s board voted unanimously at its Aug. 21 meeting to allocate an extra $4,500 to the traffic-busting transportation program for the current school year, which began Aug. 23. That will bring the district’s contribution up to $19,500 from $15,000.
