Consolidation a hot topic among Richardson Bay, San 5 candidates

Incumbents Catharine Benediktsson and Tod Moody and challenger Omar Arias will face off on Election Day, Nov. 6, in a battle for the two seats up for grabs on the board of the Sanitary District No. 5 of Marin, which provides sewage collection and treatment service to all of Belvedere and to Tiburon south of Gilmartin Drive. Meanwhile, four candidates will vie for three seats on the Richardson Bay Sanitary District board of directors, with incumbents Sue Benvenuti, Ron Kosciusko and Frank Trusheim facing challenger Sid Daru.
