Man who allegedly killed deer in Tiburon yard faces March trial


A trial date has been set for the former Tiburon resident who sparked community outrage after allegedly shooting and killing a doe and her fawn outside his Mar East Street home last year. Mark Dickinson pleaded not guilty to seven misdemeanor counts, including two charges of animal cruelty and five alleged violations of fish-and-game codes. Dickinson, who now reportedly lives out of state, is scheduled to face a jury trial March 11 in Marin County Superior Court. A pretrial conference with the judge is scheduled for March 6.
