Belvedere police chief announces retirement

Belvedere Police Chief Patricia Seyler has announced she will retire at the end of the year. Seyler, who originally became Belvedere’s chief in 2011 on contract from the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, will work her last day Dec. 28. She said she plans on helping the city find potential a successor to ensure a smooth transition at the department.
