Del Mar Middle School geography bee winner now looks to qualify for National Geographic state compet

Del Mar Middle School eighth-grader Jacob Rusting bested 19 of his peers to win the school’s Dec. 4-6 geography bee, the first round of competition in National Geographic’s annual GeoBee. The Del Mar runners up were seventh-grader Jackson King in second place and sixth-grader Charlie Scott in third.
