Group of Belvedere residents appeals decision to allow live music at Sam’s Anchor Cafe


A group of Belvedere residents has formally appealed the Tiburon Planning Commission decision to allow live, amplified music on the outdoor deck at Sam’s Anchor Cafe, citing concerns the noise will impact their quality of life. The Planning Commission in January voted 3-0 to grant the restaurant, on the waterfront at 27 Main St., a conditional use permit that would allow live outdoor music seven days a week, from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays.
