After battling deficits, Tamalpais Union High School District projects balanced budget


After being pushed to the brink of insolvency by years of unchecked deficit spending, the Tamalpais Union High School District appears to be on the path toward fiscal stability. The district’s most recent budget update essentially predicts balanced budgets of $89 million in spending in 2019-2020 and $92 million in 2020-2021, said Corbett Elsen, the district’s chief financial officer.
