Del Mar music teacher wins 2019 Heritage & Arts award


Ella Steinberg has immersed herself in Del Mar Middle School’s music program since she began teaching at the school eight months ago. In her short tenure, Steinberg has not only served as the primary music specialist responsible for the school’s orchestra and guitar ensemble, but she also leads the steel-band program. Now she's being recognized for her work at the school by Tiburon’s Heritage and Arts Commission, which has named her the 2019 recipient of its Heritage & Arts Educator Award.
