Ark Row firm aims to help smaller businesses connect with customers

Brittany Haning says the idea of owning her own communications agency popped into her mind when she was 17 and never left.

 

She has since turned that dream into a reality. Last August, Haning, 32, opened Made to Measure Communications at 122 Main St. on upper Ark Row.

 

With 15 years of experience in the field, Haning did her research and found what she says is the perfect niche for her skills. While many advertising and public-relations agencies compete for the same contracts with the largest businesses, she says she felt no one was helping small and mid-size businesses navigate the myriad ways to promote themselves.
