Election 2026: Save the date, submit questions for Ark’s Sept. 29 Tiburon council candidates forum

The Ark is hosting a Tiburon Town Council candidates forum, moderated by the League of Women Voters of Marin County, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 29 in the Town Hall council chambers, 1505 Tiburon Blvd.

 

Incumbents Alice Fredericks and Jack Ryan face challengers Kathleen Defever, Chuck Hornbrook and Faris Jafar for three seats in the Nov. 3 election.

 

League volunteers will moderate and keep time for the question-and-answer session. The Community Media Center of Marin will record the forum and post it after the event.

 

Questions for the candidates can be submitted in advance to forum@thearknewspaper.com or at the event. Candidates will not see the questions ahead of time.
