Everyday Encounters: A Tiburon resident savors stroll along Shoreline Park

Tiburon resident Donna Amon takes a late-morning stroll along Shoreline Park on Jan. 28, double decaf cappuccino from Caffe Acri in hand.

 

Walking is a favorite pastime for Amon, though health issues have prevented her from taking longer walks she previously enjoyed throughout Marin and San Francisco.

 

“Now, I stay to my lovely park here,” she says.

 

Amon grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, and says she was lucky to do so.

 

“It was very quiet, it was friendly and it was safe,” she says.
