Library is hosting Sept. 27 community meeting about its future offerings

The Belvedere-Tiburon Library is hosting a community meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 27, and it’s inviting the public to drop in at any time with ideas on how to shape the future of the library.

The meeting is a strategic-planning session with interactive exercises aimed at improving the library’s services, programs, communications and business practices to better address community needs, according to Library Director Crystal Duran.

A 10-minute community survey will also run Oct. 16-Nov. 5.

In August, the Belvedere-Tiburon Library Agency board voted to hire the Virginia-based Ivy Group to help create a three-year strategic plan.
