Locals take to the streets for Run Tiburon 10K & 5K

Tiburon and Belvedere runners claimed multiple top-10 finishes and age-group victories at the Run Tiburon 10K & 5K on Sept. 7.

 

Murray Dunn of Tiburon finished fourth overall in the 10K in 38 minutes, 3 seconds, winning the male 50-59 age group. Marshall Boyd of Belvedere placed sixth overall in 39:41, while Tiburon’s Taylor Abrams took seventh, first among women, in 40:01 and Brad Geddes finished ninth in 40:39.

 

In the 5K, Eli Ask of Tiburon placed third overall and third among men 15-19 in 18 minutes, 40 seconds, while Jesus Aranda of Tiburon finished eighth in 19:10. Jordan Boyd of Belvedere, 12, led local female runners in the 5K, placing 24th overall in 22:21 while winning the female 1-14 age group.
