Parents seek donations to help fund upgrades to Strawberry Cove Park

A group of parents looking to renovate Strawberry Cove Park is asking for community donations to help fund the project’s estimated $800,000 price tag.

 

Strawberry Vista Homeowners’ Association board members Alex Smith, Marty Toth and Christian Michael, who also serves on the board of the Strawberry Recreation District, earlier this year came up with the idea to upgrade the existing exercise structure and add kid-friendly play areas at the park, which is owned and maintained by the recreation district. It sits on Seminary Drive, along a marsh and cove of Richardson Bay behind De Silva Island, next to the Strawberry Cove Condominiums and across from the Strawberry Shores Apartments.
